• What is 123LinkIt?

  123LinkIt allows bloggers to streamline the affiliate marketing process by analyzing their content and transforming relevant keywords and product links into affiliate links. Bloggers earn more passive income while receiving the added benefit of saving time on advertising.

• How does 123LinkIt work?

  With a simple plug-in, 123Linkit easily integrates with blogging platforms such as WordPress. First, the plugin analyzes and extracts the most relevant keywords and ranks them in terms of relevancy to the post. Next, it matches those keywords to the appropriate affiliate links. Finally, the plugin cloaks the links and transforms the keywords into regular hyperlinks – so bloggers don’t have to worry about annoying pop-up or hover ads.

• Whom is 123LinkIt for?

  We are currently targeting Mom bloggers because we believe they have the most potential from using our tool. However, all bloggers are welcome to use 123LinkIt. We have tech blogs, fitness blogs, sports blogs, etc. in our system and we plan on targeting other verticals soon.

• Why should I use 123LinkIt?

  Bloggers are seen as a trusted authority by their readers and 123LinkIt is the perfect tool to allow bloggers the opportunity to maximize on potential missed revenue. 123LinkIt makes it effortless to integrate an affiliate program so bloggers can focus on creating valuable content while we take care of optimizing their affiliate revenue. In addition, readers are not as tolerant of blogs with too many banner ads and 123LinkIts’ service allows bloggers to save valuable real estate on their blog.

• How much does 123Linkit cost?

  Our plugins are free to use.

• How does 123LinkIt make money?

  It’s free to sign-up and to use our services. We only make money when the blogger makes money. Our model is performance-based and we retain fifteen percent of the commissions paid using the affiliate links our tools generate.

Product Questions

• How do I get started with 123LinkIt?

  After downloading the 123LinkIt affiliate plugin, click on our Settings page (this will be located under your Dashboard panel on the upper left). Click on “Synchronize Posts” and our software will add relevant affiliate links to your posts automatically.

• Do I use 123LinkIt before I publish my posts?

  You do not need to resync your new blog posts once you initially install and synchronize your posts. We will automatically update your new posts. This is also true for edits to existing posts.

• Can I control what links appear on my blog?

  Yes. You can remove any of the links we add to your blog post. Just sign into your account on the 123LinkIt site, click on the blog you want to modify, and navigate to the blog post you would like to change. Our links will appear in red and clicking on the minus sign at the top of the link will instantly remove the ad from your post.

• Will 123LinkIt slow down my blog?

  No. Our plugin do not affect your load time.

• Which blogging platforms does 123LinkIt support?

  We currently support the latest version of WordPress.org. To be notified of future releases including Blogger.com, Drupal, LiveJournal, Moveable Type, TypePad, Tumblr and WordPress.com, sign-up at the question below.

• Which merchants are in 123LinkIt.com?

  We possess merchants from all 29 categories and we currently provide you with access to almost 1,000 merchants from Commission Junction. To look at specific advertisers in our system, click on the “Advertisers” link on your profile page.

• What if I already belong to Commission Junction?

  There's no need to close your account and you can use our plug-in in conjunction with affiliate ads you already have on your site. Our affiliate plugin helps bloggers find opportunities and links they may have missed.

• Will 123LinkIt expand to other affiliate networks?

  Yes, we're planning on expanding to other affiliate network. Stay tuned to our blog, Twitter and Facebook accounts for updates. If there's one in particular you really want us to work with, let us know in our Community page.

• Do you work with other contextual networks?

  Absolutely. We do not violate Google Adsense’s Terms and Conditions. If you use other contextual services, please consult their respective policies.

• Can I use the 123LinkIt plugin with more than one blog?

  To add another blog, go to Manage Account and click on "New Blog". You'll be asked for the blog URL and category. You can do that as many times as needed.

• Under Settings, how is “Restore Defaults” different from “Reset Plugin”?

  The “Restore Defaults” feature restores your Settings options to the default (which are recommended). We suggest clicking on “Reset Plugin” when you’re encountering errors using our tool. Note: This will NOT remove our affiliate links.

• What kind of reporting do I receive?

  The Stats & Reports tab on your profile page will allow you to run reports and view your commissions (by each blog or all).

• What if I uninstall the plug-in?

  Uninstalling the plugin will remove ALL our affiliate links instantly and prevent you from earning additional affiliate revenue.

• Is the 123LinkIt plugin available in other languages?

  Our plugin is currently only available in English but we plan on expanding to other languages soon. International bloggers can still use the plugin if they don't mind being paid in USD.

Payment Questions

• Is there a minimum monthly payment?

  Yes, you need to earn at least $25 in commissions to be paid. If this amount is not reached within a month, it will roll over to the next month.

• How will payments be processed?

  Our payments are processed through PayQuicker.com and our current payment methods include Check, Debit Card and Direct Deposit. You will receive an email after you’ve accumulated $25 in your account which will require you to setup your PayQuicker account. To release your payment, you must enter the Security Code provided in your Payments page. Payments are sent on the last day of the every month via the payment method you selected.

• What’s the difference between Total Account Balance and Pending Commissions?

  Pending Commissions displays the total commissions you have earned and are awaiting to be credited from Advertisers. Your Total Account Balance displays the amount you will be paid on the last day of the month as long as you've reached $25 in your account.

• When do I have to fill out the W-9 form?

  We recommend filling it out right away but it is not required until you’ve reached $600 in commissions. Further payments will NOT be processed until it is completed. This form is required for tax purposes.

Referral Program

• What does 123LinkIt do for affiliates?

  Every 123LinkIt user is automatically an affiliate. All our users have the opportunity to promote our service to generate revenue. When you log into your account, go to "Referrals" to view your links. This section will allow you to view your referral links, HTML code for promotional graphics, see the number of referrals you have made and the commissions you’ve earned. Our affiliates can earn up to a 10% lifetime residual commission depending on how many bloggers they refer.

• How much will I make as an affiliate?

  As an affiliate, you can earn up to 10% lifetime residual commissions. With an average annual revenue of $288 USD per blogger (this is dependent on the bloggers traffic and niche), you can expect up to $57.60 per referral, per year. If you refer 20 bloggers, that’s $1,152 per year.

• How much does it cost to become an affiliate?

  There is no cost to become an affiliate at 123LinkIt. You actually make money by promoting our service.

• How do I promote 123LinkIt?

  There are various ways to promote 123LinkIt. They include website links, email newsletters, 123LinkIt graphics, email signatures, forum posts, Facebook/Twitter and article syndication. Check out our newsletters and blogs for ideas.

• What does ‘lifetime residual commissions’ mean?

  Most affiliates receive a one-time signup commission – either a percentage or dollar amount. 123LinkIt’s affiliate program offers a lifetime residual commission that allows affiliates to receive a commission every time the blogger is paid, instead of a one-time fee when they sign up.
